Coy Brown

Coy Guy Brown, 84, of Glendale, AZ passed away on September 16, 2016. He was born in Nowata, OK on March 29, 1932 to Carl Brown and Victoria Cogle. Coy is survived by his wife, Hui, his daughters Cinda (Nathan) and Kindra (Ryan) as well as his grandchildren Lily and Kiva. He was a proud member of the United States Marine Corps for over 22 years, serving in the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He received numerous personal and unit awards including two Purple Heart awards. He was most proud of his membership on the USMC Pistol Team. After retirement from the USMC, Coy drove tractor trailers for Consolidated Freightways over 20 years. In his retirement he enjoyed spending his time hunting and fishing and doing anything in the outdoors. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Services will be held at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Rd., on September 29, 2016 at 12:30 p.m.
