Claranell Davis

Claranell “Sissy” (Stevens) Davis, born in Phoenix, Arizona November 11, 1934, went to be with the Lord  on August 22, 2013, in Glendale, Arizona, she was 78. Claranell was preceded by the love of her life, Pat Davis in January 1999. She is survived by sisters, Billie Jo Hunsinger and Jerry Lou Baker, and by her five “boys”, Pat (Nita), Mike (Diane), Greg (Misty), Brian (Vicky) and Kenny (Martha). She also leaves eight grandchildren, James, Cherrish, Tim, Jennifer, Jesse, Morgan, Dylan and Tessa, and three great grandchildren, Haley Jae, Patrick, and Alexa. Claranell was a devoted Christian; she loved her family, and spending time with her grandkids. She had a great sense of humor and was always laughing and making others laugh. Pat and Claranell were both devoted parents who provided a stable loving environment for their family. The Davis family is also grateful for the five years of exceptional care by Glencroft Care Center, especially the nurses and staff who became part of her family. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, August 30th at 3 pm at Menke Funeral & Cremation Center, 12420 N 103rd Ave., Sun City. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Glencroft Care Center and Hospice of the Valley.
