Charles Tucker

Charles W. (Woody) Tucker, 86, of Sun City, AZ passed away on December 6, 2021, after a battle with Covid. Born in Morrilton, Arkansas on July 13, 1935, to Hiram and Gladys Tucker. He has one brother, Paul, who survived him, and two who preceded him in death: Jim and James. He married his true love, Irmgard and were married for 64 years. They had four children: Petra Zaleski, Charles Jr. (Elena), Gail Leith (Gregg) and Allen. He proudly served in the Army as a cook, NCO club manager and food inspector. After the Army he worked for the state of Arizona as a correctional officer. He loved to play golf and was quite good. He is survived by six grandkids; John, Stacey, Natasha, Tatyana, Nathan and Levi and seven great grandkids; Cameron, Sofie, Stella, Kinsley, Kellen, Kasen and Kylee. He loved to tell jokes and make people smile. His favorite donation charities were Shriner’s Children Hospital and St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 18, 2021, at 11AM at Menke Funeral & Cremation Center, 12420 N. 103rd Ave. Sun City, AZ 85351.
