Charles B Mitchell was born on April 16, 1937, in Winchester, Arkansas. He passed away on June 17, 2017, in Sun City, Arizona. Charles (Chuck) attended Sexton High School in Lansing, Michigan. He served in the active U.S. Army and U.S. Corp Reserves from 1957 to 1963. Chuck was married to his wife Jacquie Folkerts for forty years. Chuck provided many years of public service working for the City of Flint, Michigan. He was proud of his career achievements earning distinguished performance awards as Contract Compliance Coordinator, Deputy Community Development Director and Purchasing Director. Following his career, Chuck moved with his wife Jacquie to Sun City, AZ enjoying their retirement. Through his lifetime, Chuck enjoyed traveling, had a love for wine tasting and played many rounds of golf. He was a fabulous amateur photographer and took pride in the many automobiles he owned. Chuck is survived by his wife Jacquie of Sun City AZ; daughter Delores Mitchell of Lansing, MI; Brothers and Sisters: Stanley Hayward, Larry Hayward, Raymond Gillison, Cheri Hayward and Deborah Hayward all of MI; beloved sister-in-law Pat Murphy; and many nieces and nephews.
