Charles Lancour

Charles Robert Lancour, (formerly of Escanaba, Mi) age 89 slipped gently into heaven’s open arms on May 1, 2021, at The Heritage Legacy in Sun City West, Az , after a brief illness. Charles formerly resided at 14610 West Black Gold Lane, Sun City West, Az 85375. Charles (Chuck) was born in Escanaba, Michigan on July 12, 1931, eldest son of the late Leona (Roberts) Lancour and Arnold J Lancour. Chuck married Catherine (Martin) Lancour on August 25, 1973, she was the love of his life. Cathy preceded him in death, March 1, 2017. In 1995 Chuck retired as a Tax Assessor from the city of Milwaukee, Wi. He and Cathy then moved from Milwaukee, Wis. (where they resided for 22 years), to Sun City West, Az. where they spent their time traveling, boating, fishing, dancing and also visiting family and friends. Chuck was preceded in death by, three sisters, Shirley Lancour (2020), Mary Lou (Lancour) McGuire (1990) Sister Leone Lancour (1988) two brother in laws, Robert McGuire, William J LaVallie Jr, and nephew Paul McGuire. Chuck is survived by two sisters, Winifred Lancour, Greenfield, Wi, Carol J. LaVallie, Marquette, Mi, their three children, Lisa (Brian) Cook, Dean (Connie) LaVallie, Ann (Christian) Reitter, two brothers, Thomas (Joan) Lancour, Daniel (Carole) Lancour, their two sons, Ryan (Liv) Lancour and Chad Lancour and eight children from his deceased sister, Mary Lou (Lancour) McGuire, Patrick, David, Julie, Dennis, John, Timothy, Linda, and Reginald. Numerous great nieces and nephews. Due to the Covid Virus there will be no Funeral Services.
