Charles Glas

Charles 85 of Phoenix, formerly of Chippewa, PA passed away on October 23, 2016 at Hospice of the Valley in Glendale, AZ. He was born March 10, 1931 in Baden, PA the son of the late William and Estella Glas. He retired from the Air National Guard after 36 years of service. He is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Mary Ann, two sons Charles (Roberta) Glas of Ponte Vedra, FL and Roger (Suzanne) Glas of Phoenix, AZ; two grandchildren, Brittany (Gary) Trubl of Columbus, OH and Cassandra (Jacob) Coash of Phoenix, AZ; two great-grandchildren, Hailey and Connor; three brothers, William of Pennsylvania, Donald of Florida, Richard of Pennsylvania and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Friends will be received 9:00 – 11:30 a.m. with prayers and funeral Ceremony at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 28, 2016, at Menke Funeral & Cremation Center, 12420 N. 103rd Ave., Sun City, AZ. He will be laid to rest at 1:30 p.m. at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.
