Charles Chambers

Charles Robert Chambers, 92, of Sun City, Arizona died on December 21, 2018. Born in Carroll County, Indiana, he was the son of Charles Chambers, Jr. and Mabel Chambers. He was preceded in death by his wife of 69 years, Mary Lee Chambers. He was a WWII Army veteran and a Mason. He retired in 1985 from Chrysler Corporation where he was the Plant Manager of the Indianapolis Electrical Plant. He moved to Arizona in 1985 and was active in the Briarwood Country Club in Sun City West, Arizona. He is survived by his three (3) sons, Charles David Chambers of Glendale, Arizona, Michael Lee Chambers (wife Cindy) of Surprise, Arizona and Jeffrey Robert Chambers of Sun City, Arizona. He had one (1) grandson, Christopher Michael Chambers (wife Chrissy) and one (1) great-grandson, Harrison Michael Chambers. Services were held in Sun City, Arizona and Phoenix, Arizona, after which his ashes were placed in the Columbarium in the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona in Phoenix, Arizona.
