Charles H. Budler, 89, of Sun City passed away peacefully with his family at his side on June 5, 2009. He was born in Plainfield, Illinois to Henry and Anna McKenna Budler on the family farm which he worked and raised his family on. Mr. Budler served in the US Army Air Corps during WW II. He was also an Oldsmobile Car salesman in Illinois, and after retiring to Sun City he sold real estate for Ken Meade Realty Co. He was a member of St. Elizabeth Seton Parish. Survivors include his wife Betty; children Louis Budler Peggy and Barbara Hummel Kenneth; step-children Dan Carney Donna, Tom Carney Vicki, Matt Carney Margaret, Kathleen Carney, Patricia Carney, Candace Unger Craig and Kelly Wilmes Laverne; his sister Mary Graham, 17 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife Doris in 1986, his son Michael Budler Jacque in 2008 and step-son Jim Carney Sandi in 2001. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. with vigil service at 7:00 p.m, Friday, June 12, 2009 at Menke Funeral & Cremation Center, 12420 N. 103rd Ave., Sun City, AZ. Funeral mass will be 9:00 a.m., Saturday, June 13, 2009 at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church, 9728 W. Palmeras Dr., Sun City, AZ with interment to follow at Sunland Memorial Park in Sun City. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Valley View Food Bank in Youngtown, AZ.
