Catherine Wagenfehr

Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt of Glendale, Catherine Dian Wagenfehr (Woods) born Feb. 19, 1944, in Phoenix, died December 22, 2021, at the age of 77 at home after a prolonged battle with ALS. She was a dedicated homemaker with great sewing, cooking and baking skills that will be missed. She selflessly put everyone else before herself and lived for her family. She worked part time to help her children get through college and at age 47 achieved her nursing degree at Glendale Community College and worked several years at Thunderbird Samaritan Hospital. She enjoyed her family, travel and her pets. She is survived by husband Robert, sons Robert Jr. (Raquel) of Goodyear and Tyler (Lee) of Pinetop; grandchildren Sarah Wagenfehr, Sabrina Wagenfehr, Shyanne Wagenfehr, Elijah Wagenfehr, Julia Wagenfehr (Ebrahimi) and Kegan Craig. Brother Darrell Woods (Betty) of Phoenix; nieces Michelle Woods, Sherry Woods and nephew Sean Woods of Phoenix. She is preceded in death by her daughter Suzan Greefkens and grand-daughter Kai Lynn Craig. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Arizona Humane Society. Services are pending.
