Those who remember Candy cannot look at something that is the color purple without thinking of her. Nor hear a silly laugh without thinking of Candy’s contagious laugh (and snort!) or her crazy sense of humor. She was an amazing cook and she loved being a part of their Gourmet Club with Dale. The consummate “hostess with the mostess”, everyone around her felt her warmth, big personality, but mostly her love. A love that also extended to all things furry, especially kitties! Candy is survived by her husband, Dale A. Knight; daughter, Amanda M. Knight, grandson, Jecobie R. Williams; brother, Robert M. Larsen; sister, Gina L. Larsen; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents, Clayton C. Larsen and Madeline M. Firehammer; brothers, Charles C. Larsen and Douglas W. Larsen; son, Robert C. Knight; grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, April 27, at the Menke Funeral & Cremation Center, 12420 N. 103rd Ave., Sun City, AZ. 85351 Her family requests that in lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in her name to Hospice of the Valley or the organization of your choice.
