Cameron June passed away recently in Peoria, Arizona at the age of 32. He was born in Juneau, Alaska on May 1, 1990 to the late Tom and Susie Sommers June. After growing up in Juneau and working in the restaurant industry Cameron met the love of his life – Lindsey and relocated to Newberg, Oregon where he lived until deciding to relocate to Arizona a few months ago.
Cameron’s loved ones and friends describe him as having a big heart and caring concern for others. He was sentimental regarding family heirlooms and often talked about how he missed his parents and admired his father Tom for the years he spent in the military as a medivac helicopter pilot during the Vietnam war. Cameron had a great sense of humor and enjoyed traveling. He was seldom seen without his beloved dog Manny at his side.
On May 15, 2022 , Cameron was baptized at Copper Hills Church in Peoria Arizona. He said he felt something special inside himself the first time he walked into this church. He often told the story about meeting Pastor Brad after a minor fender bender – which he said was no accident but divinely orchestrated.
Cameron is survived by his brother Dawson June, sister Candace June Jacobs, former wife Lindsey June, Aunt Kathy and Uncle Lynn Bartol along with his faithful loving companion Manny.
A celebration of Cameron’s life with family and friends will be at Copper Hills Church 27035 Black Rock Blvd, Peoria AZ 85383 on Sunday June 26th at 1:00 pm officiated by Pastor Brad Klassen.
