C. "Fritz" Fred Robinson

C. Frederick "Fritz" Fred Robinson 89, entered this world 1-23-1928 and was called home 12-07-2017. Fred was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado son of James Leon and Ruth May Robinson, brother to Bobby J and Gene L Robinson. Fred attended grade school and graduated high school in Colorado Springs. He attended Midwest Trade school in Denver, Colorado and LaSalle University in Chicago, Illinois. Fred enlisted in the Army Rangers, 38 Regimental Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division from 1945-1948. Married Elaine Gonzales 8-9-1950 and had son Terry 9-28-1951. Moved to Long Beach, Calif. in 1954, served on the California High Court with the Independent Order of Foresters. Retired 1994 and moved to Sun City AZ. Survived by wife Elaine of 67 years, daughter-in-law, Pauline and grandsons Bryan and Kevin. Service will be held at Menke Funeral & Cremation Center, 12420 N 103rd Ave. Sun City AZ 85351 Thursday 12-14-2017 with visitation at 10:AM and service at 11:AM with burial directly following at Nat’l Memorial Cemetery at 23029 N Cave Creek Rd., Phoenix, AZ.
