Bernadette Vanyo Wathey

Bernadette "Dede" Vanyo Wathey, 49, passed away December 26, 2010, at home with her family in Phoenix. She was a beautiful lady, wonderful wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend. She battled pancreatic cancer with courage and trusted in God’s plan for her life. She will be remembered for her beautiful blue eyes, a fun-loving attitude and a magnetic personality. Professionally, she was known for the great work she did in the media and advertising business. She leaves behind her loving husband, Drew, and her two beautiful children, Kevin and Lauren. Her mother Janie Vanyo, sister Nancy Vanyo Etchart and brother Dooley Vanyo and beloved nieces and nephew also survive her. Dede will be greatly missed. A memorial service will be held at Desert Springs Bible Church Thursday, December 30th at 11am located at 16215 N. Tatum Blvd., Phx. Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to an Education Fund set up for her children and directed to the Branch Manager at Bank of America, Paradise Valley Mall branch, 13008 N. Tatum Blvd. Phoenix.
