Barbara Pitcher

Barbara Joan Pitcher was born in Waseca, Minnesota on February 5, 1935 to Senora and Ole Jorgenson. Barb recently passed peacefully at home and is now with our Lord and Savior. Barb graduated high school from Elkhorn, Nebraska in 1953, and graduated Nursing School from North Western Hospital School of Nursing. She met the love of her life Milo at the local Lutheran church youth group. They were married on July 22, 1955 and enjoyed 53 years together until his passing in 2008. Her four children loved her very much, son Jeff and Cindi of Colorado, daughter Jill and Lesley of Colorado, son Steve and Connie of Florida, and daughter Sandy and Mark of New Hampshire. She also had so much joy being with her 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Barb is survived by three siblings, John Jorgensen and family, Don Jorgensen and family and Kristi Hanson and family. She lived in Colorado for many years and then moved to Arizona where she last resided. Barb enjoyed being with her family and friends as much as she could. She was a wonderful mom, wife, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be deeply missed and fondly remembered as being very loving, kind, and happy. Barb was always involved in the church and her faith was very deep and strong. We all take comfort in knowing that Barb and Milo are now together again. A celebration of life will be scheduled in Colorado in the near future.
