Avis Bennett

Avis Juanita Bennett went to be with the Lord on Friday, December 10, 2010 in Sun City, Arizona. Avis was preceded in death by her parents, Mathilda and Vinton Hutson; her husband Russell G Bennett; her son Russell E. Bennett; and her two sisters, Phyllis Fort and Aurora Brooks. Avis is survived by one brother, Ivan Hutson of Dana Point, California; her son, Larry J. Bennett; 2 daughters-in-law, Mischael D. Bennett and Joy D. Bennett; and 5 grandchildren and 9 great grand children. A special Memorial Concert in her honor will be held on Saturday, January 08, 2011 at 4:00 PM at the Sun City Christian Church, 9745 W. Palmeras Avenue, Sun City, Arizona. This concert will feature many of Avis' family members and will contain songs that Avis loved. The family suggest in lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Sun City Christian Church Avis Bennett Memorial Fund.
