Ann Zampini

81, of Peoria, Arizona, entered the Gates of Heaven on Friday, March 31, 2017. She was born on May 19, 1935 in New York City, NY. Ann met her loving husband Arthur John Zampini in Long Island, NY. Soon after they married, they started their family and moved to Arizona in 1960. Ann is survived by her husband, Arthur John Zampini, daughters Carole Ann Hooks, Leslie Brady, Mary Mitch, Joanne Kaczmarowski, son Paul Zampini, 14 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and her sister Joan Ilowiecki. Ann was a woman of faith and the way she lived her life was a clear testament to that. Ann was a member of the Red Hats, Ladies Niners Golf Club, and served the community at the House of Ruth. She loved to cook, paint, shop, and garden. Ann had a beautiful loving and gentle spirit and was loved by all. She had an infectious smile that will surely be missed by everyone. Memorial Service will be held April 4, 2017, 1:00 viewing and 2:00 service at Menke Funeral Home at 12420 N. 103rd Avenue, Sun City, AZ 85351. Burial will be held April 5, 2017 at 10:00 at Holy Cross Cemetery.
