Ann Marie Christian

Ann Marie Christian, affectionately known as Amy, passed away on January 27, 2025, in Peoria, AZ, at the age of 82. Born on January 15, 1943, Amy lived a life filled with purpose and compassion, notably dedicating over 40 years to her career as a Registered Nurse. Her extensive experience saw her work across a multitude of areas in nursing, where her caring, welcoming, and patient demeanor always put others at ease.

A graduate of Loyola University Chicago, Amy earned her Bachelor's of Science in Nursing, which laid the foundation for her remarkable contributions to healthcare. Throughout her career, she touched many lives, earning the respect and admiration of colleagues and patients alike.

Family was a central pillar in Amy's life. She is survived by her loving husband, Charles Christian, and her children: Craig Christian, Kevin (Kristine) Christian, and Jacqui Ayala, as well as her step-son Charles Steven Christian and step-daughter Mary Jo (Dan) Hagen. She also leaves behind her siblings Richard (Ellen) Rominski, Kathy Henry, Daniel (Kathryn) Rominski, and Suzanne (Thomas) Miller, alongside their respective families. Amy took great pride in her role as a grandmother to her 10 grandchildren and a great-grandmother to 11 great-grandchildren, cherishing every moment spent with them.

Among her proudest accomplishments, Amy maintained a steadfast relationship with God, a source of strength and comfort throughout her life.

Amy was preceded in death by her parents, Wally and Anastazia Rominski, and her great-grandchild, Jack Christian.

A viewing service to honor her memory will be held on February 5, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Menke Funeral & Cremation Center, located at 12420 N 103rd Ave, Sun City, AZ 85351.

Amy's legacy of kindness, dedication, and love will continue to resonate with all who knew her. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends, who will forever cherish the impact she had on their lives.
