Alyce Mikes

Alyce P. Mikes passed away in her Sun City home on July 18th surrounded by family. Born to Frank and Elizabeth Prindiville in Chicago, Illinois, on November 20, 1918. She was a long time resident of Homewood, Il. before moving to Arizona in 1998. She is survived by sons, Thomas Judy of Phoenix, Az. and Jeffery Susan of Homewood, Il; daughter, Sara McDonald of Allen, Tx; daughter-in-law, Patricia Mikes of Swan Hill, Australia; sisters, Mary Gorman of Monee, Il., and Rita John Dreesen of Loudon, Tn; ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Alyce volunteered at the Olympia Fields Osteopathic Hospital in Illinois and Boswell Hospital in Sun City, Az, was an active member of the St. Clement's Women's Guild and served as president of her homeowners association. Alyce said she never met a stranger. Her faith was an inspiration to all. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Clement of Rome Catholic Community 15800 Del Webb Blvd., Sun City, Az. 85351 on Thursday, July 23rd at 9:30 am.
