Albert Schulz, Jr. 90, passed away May 16, 2014 in Phoenix, AZ. Albert was born April 9, 1924 in St. Paul, MN to Albert Elizabeth Schulz. After graduating from high school he went into the Navy serving 3 years in the South Pacific. Upon returning home, he attended Brown Institute and worked in radio and then went on to sales. He married Gerry Flaherty in 1949 and they were married 64 years. They had three daughters, Barbara Harris, Connie Welp and Janet Ranjitsingh (Dirk) who survive him. He is also survived by two siblings Pat Robbins and Shirley Sattler of St. Paul, MN, 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Albert was sales manager of Kindler Cadillac and Pontiac of Sioux Falls, SD and a stockbroker for Dean Witter-Morgan Stanley. An avid golfer, he enjoyed travel, reading and volunteered for several organizations and area hospitals. Funeral mass will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 11300 N. 64th St., Scottsdale, AZ 85254.
