Adele Browning

Browning, Adele Ellen (Beckett) 85, of Sun City passed away on March 8, 2010 at Hospice of The Valley. She was born in McGregor, Iowa where she was raised nearby on the family farm. She was proud to be the 1941 valedictorian of Garnavillo High School. After retiring from a life of various manufacturing positions, she moved from Lake Geneva, WI to Sun City in 1993 where she involved herself as a Deacon and Social Worker at the First Presbyterian Church of Sun City. Adele was devoted to her family and friends. She is survived by 6 children: Suzanne Davis of Sun City; Teryl Zubow of Phoenix; Michael Zubow of Sun City; Karen Romans of Camp Verde; Randal Zubow of Lake Geneva, WI; Yvonne Lee of Phoenix and step-daughter Bonnie Bowen of Kingman, AZ. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren all of whom she loved dearly. Adele is also survived by her sister Lyla LeHew of Rockford, Ill. A memorial service is planned for Saturday, March 20 @ 1:30 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church of Sun City on 12225 N. 103`d Ave. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to The National Parkinson's Foundation Inc.; 1501 NW 9th Ave./Bob Hope Rd.; Miami, Fl. 33136-1494.
